Emptiness is the beginning.
Not the end.
It is the root from which everything grows. Without emptiness, there is no space, and without space, there is no creation.
Most people fear emptiness. They fill every silence with noise, every pause with distraction, every moment with images. They believe emptiness means lack – but in truth, it is fullness in its purest form.
Imagine a room packed from floor to ceiling. Furniture, boxes, memories, things you have not touched in years. No space to breathe, no room to move. That is what exists inside you when you never empty yourself.
But as soon as you begin clearing things out, you realize: with every object that disappears, the room becomes larger. Brighter. Softer. Your breath becomes freer. This is exactly what happens when you allow emptiness within yourself.
The path of Blackdragon begins here: with letting go.
Not to become poorer, but to feel again what is alive within you.
Physical Fasting – Returning to the Origin
Fasting is an ancient practice. Every culture knows it. Not because food is evil, but because the body needs pauses in order to renew itself.
After just 12 to 16 hours without solid food, your body begins using its stored energy reserves. It shifts from constant digestion toward internal processes of renewal. The body begins drawing on its reserves, and the cells continue their natural maintenance processes. After 24 hours, you may experience a different kind of clarity – hunger is no longer merely discomfort; it can become a quiet sensation that makes you more aware of being alive.
After two or three days, a particular stillness may emerge. Your stomach may growl less, and your mind may feel lighter. It can seem as though your body is whispering to you: “Finally, I can breathe.” Old tensions may ease, your body may feel different, and your sleep may change.
But fasting is more than biology. It is remembrance.
You realize that you are not enslaved by constant consumption. You feel that a rhythm moves within you, older than any meal.
The emptiness of the stomach becomes a mirror. And in that mirror you recognize: I am more than my cravings. I am the force that decides.
Mental Fasting – The Silence Behind the Thoughts
Our minds are rarely still. They produce thoughts continuously – just as a fire sends sparks into the air. Most of these thoughts are repetitions, old patterns, voices from the past and from our surroundings. We believe they are who we are, but they are only echoes.
Mental fasting means that you do not hold on to every thought.
You sit down, breathe, and observe thoughts appearing and disappearing. You let them pass like clouds across the sky. Some are heavy, dark, and large. Others are light, quick, and bright. But none of them remain.
Even after ten minutes of daily stillness, something can begin to change. The voices in your mind may lose some of their sharpness. After several days, you may become better at not following every impulse. And eventually – in the middle of the silence – a new thought may appear, clearer than all the others. It does not come from habit. It comes from within you.
Mental fasting gives you the space to distinguish between echoes and your true voice. In this silence, creativity grows. Not as noise, but as a whisper that guides you.
Media Fasting – Freedom from the Noise
Never before has the world been so loud. Images, news, voices, flashing lights – everything wants your attention. Your mind is like a lake into which a thousand stones are thrown. No wonder the water never becomes clear.
Media fasting means no longer allowing the stones to be thrown.
No constant flood of news. No endless spiral of images. No continuous stream of stimulation.
If you turn off your phone for an entire day, you may feel restless. Your mind reaches into the emptiness, searching for the next stimulus. But after several hours, the feeling can change. Suddenly, you hear sounds you had long stopped noticing: the wind, your breath, your heartbeat.
After several days without an excess of media, your perspective can become clearer. The world may appear more intense, colors deeper, encounters more genuine. Your frequency realigns itself – no longer toward external noise, but toward your inner resonance.
Media fasting gives you a gift that cannot be bought: your attention back.
Emptiness as a Foundation
Body, mind, and senses – all need emptiness in order to recover, become clear, and open themselves again.
Emptiness is not a hole that swallows you. It is the space in which the flame can emerge.
Those who know emptiness no longer fear it.
Because they understand: everything grows from it.
A blank page is not the end of the story – it is the beginning.
A pause in music is not silence – it is the breath preparing the next note.
Your emptiness is not nothingness.
It is the ground of your creativity.
And the more deeply you accept it, the more strongly the spark within you can burn.
This is the first step on the path of Blackdragon:
Not to fill, but to empty.
Not to search, but to let go.
And then – in the silence – to receive what truly wants to be born from within you.
