⬅ Chapter 12
Epilogue

An Unforgettable Farewell

The Galactic Heap was officially no longer capable of flight, but its crew had not lost their fighting spirit. After digesting the message from the Space Tourism Agency, they decided to make the best of their unexpected situation.

The sky above the jungle glowed with a deep purple hue when, at last, a gleaming silver spaceship broke through the clouds. It was as large as a small moon and so dazzling that it seemed to compete with the stars themselves.

“I don't believe it,” Ziggy muttered as the ship slowly landed on a nearby plateau. “It really is a cruise.”

An excessively imposing ramp extended from the ship, accompanied by soft, almost ironically festive music. A radiant robotic steward rolled down the ramp, his chrome exterior gleaming in the light of the setting sun.

“Welcome aboard the intergalactic luxury liner Starshine! Your cabins are ready, and the cocktails are already waiting on the sun deck.”

Kira, Axl, and Ziggy looked at one another and burst into loud laughter. After all the disasters they had been through, it seemed almost ridiculous that this was going to be their way out.

“So, what do you think?” Kira asked, trying to hold back her laughter. “Should we end our epic odyssey with a cocktail in zero gravity?”

“That's the craziest thing that could have happened to us,” Axl said, patting Ziggy on the back. “But I'm in. Who would have thought our next adventure would take place on a cruise ship?”

Ziggy nodded and cast one final glance at the smoking remains of the Galactic Heap.

“Maybe the universe was trying to give us a hint all along – that we shouldn't take life too seriously, even when everything around us is on fire.”

With a shared shrug, the three of them made their way toward the ramp, their steps becoming lighter with every second. They had lost a lot – especially control over their situation – but they had kept their humor and their friendship. And in the end, that was worth more than any spaceship.

“And what do we do now?” Axl asked as they entered the luxurious halls of the ship.

“We enjoy the ride,” Kira said with a broad grin. “Who knows where it will take us? Maybe to the next great disaster – or to the best adventure we've ever had.”

“As long as there are cocktails, I'm in,” Ziggy said, stepping onto the sun deck first, where an almost endless selection of drinks awaited them.

The luxury liner gently lifted off, leaving the jungle and the wreckage of the Galactic Heap behind. The crew leaned back, their eyes fixed on the vastness of space as they looked back on the events of the past few days. They had survived the impossible – and now they were heading toward a new adventure, with smiles on their faces and drinks in their hands.

As the ship disappeared into the endless reaches of space, they finally left their hardships behind and looked ahead with hope and a touch of anticipation toward whatever awaited them.

And so the chapter of the Galactic Heap came to an end, but the stories of this crew were far from over. With humor, friendship, and a healthy dose of chaos, they were ready to face any challenge – whether it was an intergalactic cocktail competition or their next great adventure.
